It is one of the many turquoise deposits which was actively mined by Native Americans for centuries. King rediscovered the mine in 1890, and the King family has operated it ever since. These are hard to find with the stones all matching as it has to come from one stone and the pendant is large Pendant is geometrically shaped measures 1-3/4 inch down the middle and 1-1/4 inch along thickest portion.
Overall length is 2-1/4 inches including the Bale so this is a larger pendant. Earrings are 1 1/8 inch x 3/4 inch. Pendant weighs 16 grams Earring weigh 13 grams Total weight is 29 grams.
